I don't know if you know anything about Bioware, but in case you don't: they're the developers behind a number of fairly prominent RPG titles like Baldur's Gate/Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
They've also had a title, Dragon Age, in development for some years. Thus far, very little information about it has been released. This has made some people... antsy. Speculations about EA, who's recently bought Bioware, ruining the game. Then Dave Gaider, one of Bioware's lead writers, makes an appearance:
We said we were working on the game, and beyond a few bits that have gone out to let everyone know that, yes, we are still working on it we've simply kept plugging along. When we're ready to ramp up the PR, trust me, you'll probably find that you can't not hear about it.
But, no, you've decided that you "need" more information, and if we aren't giving it to you the only possible reason could be that we're incompetent, right? Right. How about you get a grip? Seriously.
And: I get that you're concerned. I just don't get why-- other than perhaps that you're paying too much attention to a game that hasn't even asked for any yet. If you really want me to call you an idiot, okey dokey: you're an idiot.
Surprisingly, the thread continues to roll on peaceably, polite questions are asked, DGaider continues to be testy, things get wildly off-topic and then Warden enters. Apparently, he has some issues with Bioware--I mean, "Biowhore," as he so cleverly puts it. Big issues. And he's going to tell everyone all about it:
"If we wanted (this), if we wanted (that)"... can you stop for a while with your arrogant attitude and think about what the other side (the customers/fans) wants? (I'm not a Bioware fan so don't look at me)... I'm writing this because I got nauseated from your rhetorics - someone wonders why there ins't any new info and (rightfully) questions what the fu*k is Biowhore thinking, and you say to him to get a grip!? A guy makes a funny remark about necromancy and enslaving nations with it (which was part of the slogan for DA for a long time as far as I remember) and you question his intelligence?
Seriously, is one of the prerequisites for being hired by Bioware being immature and frustrated?
Dave replies. Warden retorts. Dave mocks Warden for, apparently, trying desperately to re-register on the Bioware board, from which he's been banned. So he calls Bioware fascists. Also, he's created many, many accounts at the Bioware forum to circumvent the ban. Warden continues to assault people by calling them children and using smileys a lot.
I wasn't going to post this, because I thought it'd died down. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it seems to be thriving just fine, complete with a second troll who may or may not be Warden's sockpuppet.
