Revenge of the Spider-wank!
Moved from clairvoyantwank. Also apologies to Critical Cricket who did an earlier write up that I missed!

The newest Amazing Spider-Man, "One More Day" came out and set the comics web a-twitter mostly due to the fact that Peter Parker made a deal with Mephisto (the devil, more or less, in the Marvelverse) to erase Peter and MJ's marriage to save Aunt May's life.

Many fans aren't happy, (including Protoclown over at I-mockery) which makes sense 'cause this more or less fucks with 20 years of comics continuity. All may or may not have been well, but Editor In Chief and PR mess extrordinaire Joe Quesada is talking again. You may remember him from such wanks as the the MJ statue wank.

The fans have been busy. Mostly, they hate Joe Q and want his guts on a stick. So far I've found one dissenting opinion.

Oh, and the author, J. Michael Straczynski speaking out against it too, sort of, which can only add fuel to the wank fire. Apparently Joe Q. had so much input over the content of the comic, that JMS wanted his name removed from the work.

Looks like Peter will have to start doing his own laundry now, huh?

ETA: Dorian Wright weighs in with his apathy. Also, I forgot that Shortpacked ran a comic about it too.
