Ah, [info]gundam00. A place where the gay mecha porn lovers of livejournal can unite and burble about stupid sexy Lockon in ~~*peace and harmony*~~! Right? RIGHT? Well, you're wrong!

Mod [info]bucue posts a poll asking the members who their favorite Gundam meister is, and all seems to be going swimmingly. [info]arsons makes a comment to another user, and our oh-so-gracious mod gives her a warning -- not because she said anything inflammatory, but because her icon just happens to contain the N-word.

And things just go downhill from there.

The post is locked to members only, but I managed to save the post here. Will edit with relevant threads in a bit!

But as a rule on anime communities, and other-like fandoms, mods tend to 'single out' those they ban.

It was a pretty dumb wank imo. I don't agree with all the mod's actions, by any means, but saying "hey, watch out with that icon, it might offend someone" doesn't seem very rash to me. To respond to it with "yeah well suck it I don't care" is obviously not setting thing up to end well. Like, what is he supposed to say, "oh okay :)"?

The entire internet is not 4chan. srsly.
