Plagiarism Hits Close To Home
Plagiarism alert!

In Hot Fuzz fandom, a plagiarist has been getting away with things for months! Word for word copies went completely unnoticed until today, when the original OP of these stolen fics sent us mods an email.

Why did the mods get the email?

The plagiarist is phosfate.

For months she's been copying the fic (and we discovered after some clicking, her art as well!) of one annlarimer.

And while I may be no Ms. Lennox, I compiled a quick list of evidence for y'all:

And now for how this affects you guys.

phosfate has had her mod powers taken away (and I would appreciate it if you guys didn't troll her journal. Even though I think most of our friendship has been lies, they were really nice lies) and we're short a mod on this sinking ship.

So it's up to you, my fair wankahs, to... NOMINATE A NEW MOD.

	You guys are jumping to conclusions. It's obvious that annlarimer is the plagiarist; her comment at wank_report is inconsistent with the "plagiarized" fics. She was probably and confronted privately and decided to turn the situation around by accusing phosfate of plagiarizing her before anyone made any legitimate accusations. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	But the timestamps show that annlarimer posted the art first. Besides, she's on my friends list and I know that she wouldn't do anything like this. 	Yes, jealous! Phosfate has given everything to this fandom, and all annlarimer does is TAKE TAKE TAKE. 	Or maybe she decided to make the accusation just for attention! Think about it: to determine if the fic is plagiarized, some of us will read it, and then if we're convinced that she's the original author we might give her the glowing reviews that all ficcers crave.
