Cyndi, a popular author in the Transformers fandom, is raging mad. deviantArt just TOSsed her fanfic Ambrosia. What was the fanfic about? Primarily about Starscream and Unicron getting it on in full detail.

But it wasn't porn, according to Cyndi. Oh no. It's LITERATURE.

Enraged, she does the only thing a pseudo-BNF does when they are wronged by the man the whores at deviantArt. Throw a shitfit and stage a protest! Brilliant! That will teach them. ;D

Okay, I'm going to start some shit with DA, but I need anybody who has an account there to help me, because my hands are tied by being banned. This may get you in trouble. This way get you banned. I know it is asking a lot, but I think the censorship and the mods "choosing" where the line between erotica and porn is drawn and constantly changing it is unfair to everyone there. So I ask those of you who have a DA account to post this in your journals. Let's see how far around Deviantart this gets.


If the photo of a woman who is fingering her vulva is allowed to stay on Deviantart, then so should CyndilovesPiccolo's slash fanfic, "Ambrosia." (link goes offsite.).

I froze and disabled the comments on this journal. I got sick of the shitslinging clogging up my email inbox and the endless arguing that went nowhere. I still stand by the fact that Ambrosia is not pornographic. Whoever says it is is a prude.

So, following her logic:

TWO MEN FUCKING = PORN
TWO MALE ROBOTS FUCKING =/= PORN, IT'S AN EMOTIONAL ACT OF LOVE!
ERGO, AMBROSIA =/= PORN, IT IS FUCKING LITERATURE

SYSTEM ERROR!

But she isn't done yet. Like all BNFs, she has minions writing petitions for her!


I think if the letter fails, everyone participating in the boycott could write a journal entry stating what they're doing and why, and perhaps others will be encouraged to do the same. Link to Ambrosia on Transfictions.net or link to the Ambrosia Fans forum so people can see why this is going on. Even NON Transformers fans can get in on this.

The funny part is how she thinks it will change anything.

While it would end there, it would seem she's been cruelly wronged by the horrible anon menace yet again when another of her stories called "Light" is TOSsed.

She's MAD AS HELL and she's NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE! In anger, she reports another deviation (somewhat NSFW), only to fail utterly as the request is declared invalid. Luckily, there seems to be a small voice of reason, although we'll see how long that goes noticed.
