I don't even know what fandom this is, but ... WANK!
jmtorres wants YOU to know that She's not a damned gumball machine! Her gumballs are special and if you bother her one more time with your violent and v.v. threatening pointy sticks of fanfic requests, your ass is banned! And she's justhisclose to taking her toys and going home.

She's not kidding either, as humorous as the originating post seems at first glance. Just read the comments.

All sides of that just strike me as goofy. To the authors, yes, it's annoying, but it's the price of having a popular story. Lighten up. To the readers, yes, you want more, but it's the author's story and they have lives too. Lighten up.

Dude, it's not even that annoying. Guilty-making, on occasion, but come on. It's not like people throw Molotov cocktails through your window with a note tied to them saying "PUT OUT A NEW CHAPTER OR DIE!!!!" If they did that, half the writers in the HP fandom would have gone up in a blaze of abandoned WIPs long ago.

Why would you assume the troll from here? Other than another poster's (completely unverified) assertion that s/h/it must have come from FW, I see nothing to suggest it, and there is no one with that screenname on FW's membership list.

My heart is so filled with bitchy joy.

I now know that Farscape fans are capable of true wank. Everything I've seen in the fandom so far is somewhere along the lines of "I love you all. Farscape is the best show EVA! Death to Skiffy!!!!111one!!!"

Although, I suppose the love-in nature of most of the fandom is wanky in its own way.

This is probably hypocritical of me, but the comfy chair didn't elicit the big reaction. Sticks are apparently my big trigger.

Dr Freud thinks jmtorres doesn't have a boyfriend and has unresolved issues with a subconscious desire to drink from the furry cup. Forget hypocrisy, jm, just be honest with yourself!

Damn. Now this... this is quality wank.

Unless this girl was brutally attacked by a pack of wild, rabid pointy sticks as a child, I'm just going to have to call ploy for attention on this. Either that, or she just really needs to step away from the computer for a little while, because dude, reading the words "*pokes you with a pointy stick*" on a computer screen =/= actually being abused or threatened in any way. I pretty much thought that was common knowledge for anyone who has even the slightest grasp on reality, though.

Oh, yeesh...i mean, i kind of see getting a little upset about being nagged for more chapters repeatedly...the time that happened to me it was irritating and actually gave me writer's block...but that post was just over the top.

What never ceases to amaze me in situations like this is, there's always a number of people patting them on the back for being whiny wankers. Those pity parties are always nauseationg.
