Incoming E3 2008 wank?
So, the Microsoft E3 Press Conference ending a few minutes ago, and the final surprise announcement?
Final Fantasy XIII is coming to XBox 360 - making it no longer a PS3 exclusive.
PS3 Forums has completely gone down for the moment, but needless to say, I'm sure the wank has already begun to fly, if the reaction to losing exclusivity on Devil May Cry 4 is anything to go by. . . .

Personally I think this will be a shadow of the game we know it could of been now, my favourite game of all time is going to be limited to the space of DVD and then ported over to PS3. Well they can **** the port I aint being shafted.

The only reason why I got a PS3 was mainly for XIII. This is totally unacceptable. Every go spam Square Enix. PS3 officially has NOTHING for it.

This entire show was about stealing. They stole the Miis from Nintendo, Singstar, Banjo looked like LBP, The new OS looks like an Ipod, and they copied HOME as well. Then they announce this crap. How about you come up with your own ideas for a change M$.

This hurts. Some say the PS3 died today... I know one thing for certain, a little piece of the gamer in me died today. Sometimes we can fool ourselves into believing that developers "do it for the love of their craft," but today that sentiment was blown out of the water.
Can you imagine Kojima's reaction if he were told... "Uh... Hideo... we know your wish to create games as art, but you're going to have to take one for the team, buddy. Remember all those things you wanted to do with the BluRay disc? Well, you're going to have to do it on DVD instead. Sorry, buddy, money talks."
Regardless of what happens to Sony after this, gamers and developers with higher standards have definitely lost one to the bank accounts. If there was any innocence left in the indurstry, it was buried today.

I just saw this being announced. I was more excited for Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but nonetheless, this is lame. I've said this before, it seems like Square Enix is taking the same route as EA in focusing more on money than on quality. It seems like it's been that way ever since Squaresoft merged with Enix, and it really became obvious around Christmas time two years ago. I know that they're a company and they're just playing the capitalism game, but you still have to keep your respect, which I just lost for them.

Sadly this is the next generation, disappointment and m$ ruling.to be honest it was clear from last gen, with xbox being the better console and them having more money they were bound to be ********* and throw it about to make there console more popular.
Sony have totally let me down this time, they cant keep a promise at all have barely any great exclusives and let one of the bets go before its even released ffs!! Sony really have to start getting there act together its ****in embarrassing to say the least. I got so angry from this announcement that i actually got a headache, sad but true i think it was mor ethat sony are focusing totally on the wrong areas this gen and trying to fight on to many fronts at the same time and then delivering mediocre on time or fantastic way too late (and its a lot less fantastic at this point in time, even m$ are releasing theit avatar system earlier albeit a barebones shoddy copy of nintendos mii and sonys home.)
Unless sony can pull the mother of all announcements out tomorow (well better make that more than one now!!) then they will not fair aswell as we or they have thought they would this year

I am fairly upset that Sony is loosing all of there exclusives. Final Fantasy was a HUGE exclusive for them to loose. All I know is that they better blow us away tomorrow.

None of the old exclusive ps2 games are out yet, good 3rd party games that use to be exclusive to ps2 are been available else where, everything is taking forever to come out, they have less support in the network buisness then other companies. wth? I have 32 ps3 games + 12 PSN games. And Ill tell you this only like 3 of them is good, MGS4, MLB 08 The Show, and Uncharted. The rest is meh and available for other stuff to. This gen is bad for sony and, and its making me sick that the reason i paid 600 for this thing is not true anymore, I should of waited 3-4 years, Now Im a wait for sonys E3 press confrense tomorrow and that will make me decide weather the ps3 stays or goes, I can sell it now because I already played my favorite game in the world MGS, but damn I wanna play socom. But seeing that GoW3, FFXIII, socom, GT5, KingDom hearts, seems like it will never come out makes having a ps3 worthless to me right now..., Now I know Not to buy a PS4 early.. by the time these games come ps3 will probably be $349.99.

I really don't want to be on the earth right nowanymore. I'm not specifically talking suicide(even though I feel that way somewhat), but I need to get into another world. Like a dream, a video game, or television show etc. I need to do something to get my mind of all of this. Am I taking it way too seriously? Probably, but I, like every human lacks any type of control over their emotions. This is just how I feel And right now I'm so emotionally unstable that I just felt the need to type all of this and I don't care how it looks.

Update IV - Day 2 after the FFXIII Goes Multiplat Apocalypse:
I'm kinda hoping this video is just satire - but, from what I understand, no, it's not. Wow. Just . . . Wow. (And the comments just add to the "wow" factor).
ETA: credit to reeve: May just be a dramatic reading (acting?) of a real post on NeoGAF. Or the real person who made the original post. Still, comedy gold. :D
