Small wank on the TF aisle...
I refer to this as small because it's pretty much over now, but still worth a look.

Over at fanficrants, Transformers stickyfic is protested. Or rather, stickyfic with no warning. smart_blonde223 sends a polite message to the culprit, asking for a warning to be placed on the fic.

The result? Wank. She gets flamed, barred from the site, said site actually gets taken down in a spectacular flounce, and the 'writer' turns up to threaten the OP. It's right here.

Well done, TF writer. Well done. You showed those nasty people! Taking down your site means you are such a martyr and everybody will be so impressed.

Well, forming words carefully is one thing; forming coherent and non-wanky thoughts seems to be another, from a number of aspies I've encountered.

But in all honesty, do you think she really has Asperger's, or do you think she's waving that flag as an excuse and a shield?

Not BJR, but I've worked with people who have autistic spectrum disorders and/or OCD before (as clients, not co-workers), and... I think it is very, very likely that she does. That inability to just shut up and let things go rings very true, as does the desire to keep coming back to FFR even though she's had it explained to her that things will not go well for her there. (Really, given her current standard of behavior, the mods did her a favor by banning her. She'd be the FFR punching bag.)
