Small wank on the TF aisle...
I refer to this as small because it's pretty much over now, but still worth a look.

Over at fanficrants, Transformers stickyfic is protested. Or rather, stickyfic with no warning. smart_blonde223 sends a polite message to the culprit, asking for a warning to be placed on the fic.

The result? Wank. She gets flamed, barred from the site, said site actually gets taken down in a spectacular flounce, and the 'writer' turns up to threaten the OP. It's right here.

Well done, TF writer. Well done. You showed those nasty people! Taking down your site means you are such a martyr and everybody will be so impressed.

Presumably because of the addition of humanoid, ah...secretions, which might be termed sticky, to go with the shapes. In contrast to others, which do not generally involve such substances, and are usually called plug-and-play or similar names, where they get together in a more mechanical fashion.

...I'm no expert, nor even in the fandom. I just read the standard explanation that gets linked to periodically on ffr.
