The Saga of Leeser Continues!
Because this wank keeps getting wackier and weirder, we've moved on to post #3.

In episode one, we were witness to the dramatic tension on the Moonlight Line forum when kaysspleen demands to know where the $11k she donated for bus ads back in July was. See the first wank report over here, brought to you by the fabulous and possibly masochistic [info]cleolinda.

In episode two, the drama continued as the forum itself is sabotaged, IPs and users are banned (but rise as ghosts!) and posts suddenly vanish. See the second wank report here.

In tonight's episode, we have flash backs to a time that Leeser may wish she'd remembered to get rid of. You see, Leeser has not always been a PR wannabe and Head Vampire of her own forum. Oh no, she's been a very busy little bee, unbeknownst to our beloved, plucky MLL forum members.

Leeser is not just the Head Vampire, she's also the head of her own church. She also ran her own school, which suffered from some of the same problems others have complained about. Things like, never being able to actually contact her and providing substandard material. Oh, and let's not forget... disappearing with the money. She is also providing virtual life services (whatever that is). And she takes paypal, btw!

In total, she's been spotted with dozens of websites of varying schemes. From MLL forum admin to notary, to virtual life host, to online web host, to webpage designer, to pagan priestess (Reverend even!) to head of her own online school for homeschooling pagan children, to ... pardon, my head is spinning. She's used at least 4 aliases in all these dealings, to boot.

Redwinter, from MLL, also provides a very nice timeline for those who feel like they are drowning in this sea of wank.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch... the MLL folks are still in an uproar over all the discoveries. Though with all the revelations, even the most stalwart Leeser defenders are starting to retreat.

(Discliamer: Some links show her real life name and address, which is why they are not displayed here. But to the discerning and plucky F_W detective, it's easy to find. She's plastered her real life name, phone number and address everywhere, it seems.)

And now the March of the ETAs.

1. Well, most of the Snowflakes are waking up... except for elizabuff.

2. Moonlight Line is due to be renewed at the end of the month. But don't worry. Several FW members have been mad capping.

3. Leeser makes the claim (somewhat with contradictions) that it costs around 100-200 a month to host the MLL board. Yet she's told some of her former mods that it costs her nothing.

4. Wait... she just renewed the website to her former school.

5. Shocking! The vials actually did arrive!

6. Also, Leeser wants your babies. I mean, to let others adopt them. Really.

The non-resized pictures of the buses have been added to the BWP gallery.

Personally, I don't see how that prove it ain't shopped. I will be waiting for another sighting of the buses

Ya know what? If they are real, that's the biggest fucking waste of ten thousand dollars I've ever seen. Nobody who isn't already rabid about that show is going to be inspired by that.

I may check the site out of morbid curiosity. That's about it.

*checks the site*

Oh, my crap, you're kidding me, right? I mean, seriously, what are bus ads that point to that site supposed to do, anyway? "Wow, a lot of people are really passionate about this show I've never even fucking heard of. Where do I sign up?"

I think the most hilarious part is the "Press Page" that links to articles about their campaign. I clicked on one--there's an article that notes the campaign and then remarks "wow, these people are kinda nuts" and the comments page is comment after comment of Moonlight fans going "No, really, we're not!"

I think the best part is it's a campaign ad leading to a site which has given up campaigning.
So. Much. Win.

I don't understand why anyone thought that ad was going to make a difference when, on a base level, it's not even aimed at the people they wanted to aim at. ie. The network/Producers.
And buses are so fucking old school. Give me $11,000 and I'll come up with a wide reaching campaign for them which will earn me $10,000 profit.

That has been my thought through out this entire wank. How is this going to help being back the show? It is far, far, far to late for that. If you want to save a show - you need to do it fairly quickly before everyone involved goes on the other projects.

The ad in Variety - that was a good idea. It was a long shot at best but at least Variety is read and seen by people in the biz as it were.

But bus ads? How is that going to help? Even if it shows your passion for the show - and the actors how much you love them there are other ways to do that. Ways that the actors, writers, producers in question are for more likely to see.

I use Photoshop and...those seriously look 'shopped to me. And not just for the reasons pointed out in other threads.

In the first picture, the top line is...not even with the line of the back compartment, and not even really lined up period. In the second image, it looks like it was 'stuck on' over top something else which is sort of blurrily (yay new word?) peeking out from the right hand (lower) corner but not around any of the rest of where it's supposedly fixed. Again with the strange alignment at the top, tho it's not quite as obvious as with the first picture. Finally, both images are just too damned white-looking for the rest of the bus; when they're sticking adverts on them, you would think they would at least CLEAN the damned things first and the rest of the bus looks dirtier than the adverts do. It's just too clean and sharp looking for my liking.

That's why I'm calling 'shop.

I think that it says less photoshop than minimum wage slub who doesn't really give a shit about putting up the ads properly.

If it is a 'shop then that's a pretty good artist because as you've said it looks like it was stuck over something else (no money bet it probably has), the image concaves in line with the panel of the bus, the right side corner on the second (side on) image is dirt gathering around the point it hasn't been stuck down properly, the grain is consistent throughout the image, and there are dirt/scratch marks on the ad itself. In essence there has been no attempt to make it "real" over realistic.
And the one part of the pictures which demonstrates fairly excellent photoshop artistry is, in the first pic (behind view), there is perfectly accurate reflection in the car next to it.

I do have issue with the inconsistent colour of the two ads, but then there's probably another slub who doesn't give much of a shit about print consistency either. After all, if I got handed some cheap ass looking ad, and told what it was for, I'd probably laugh, leave the machine on automatic, and go to lunch myself.

Eep, I fear today I may not by cynical enough for F_W. Help!

Really, now, all we need is someone in the vicinity with a camera phone to spot bus #06317 or #03004 and see what's really on the back.

I don't even know how to use photoshop, but those look horribly fake.
