ABS-CBN, the biggest T.V station in the little island nation of the Philippines, has announced that they've landed the rights to create a Twilight television adaptation and lion_lamb members are NOT pleased! At all. And neither are the readers of Perez Hilton's blog.

The outrage over this news is rooted in racism.
The outrage stems over the fact that even we, said people of mentioned third world country, don't appreciate the lack of originality of this bullshit, and think we're better than this.
Let the third world have their fun. They don't have enough of it as it is.
If it was a Japanese drama, I would be totally okay with it, because Japanese dramas rarely f*ck up an original story.
