[info]nikkitrix admits that she has a sockpuppet in every house at Hogwarts Elite.

This doesn't even register to many of the people squibbing her application at [info]sorting_elite.

Is it satisfying to hurt so many people? And don't shrug this off as "you shouldn't trust people on the internet, and you're welcome for this free lesson" because this is rather like the "she signaled me to rape her because she dressed slutty" explanation of a rapist.

*facepalm* Man...I don't know who's worse, the sockpuppet or the people telling her to get a life because they're OMGSOWOUNDED that she's infiltrated their precious elite community.

Though I will say that 'multiple personalities' story she came up with made me blink a little. Why is she making excuses for herself? Why not just say 'lulz I got you guys!' when it's readily apparent that's what she's trying to get across?

These are probably the people who spend a couple of hours a day roleplaying and reading/writing fanfic. Writing two or three entries for four characters each week plus commenting a few times probably takes away less time.

So HE is still as pretentious as when I left it, it is nice to know some things never change.

I am not surprised someone did it, once you read a few apps and see which ones get placed where it wouldn't be that hard to write an application that would pass muster. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't others who are doing or have done the same thing.

You know, I would call this funny except that I've thought about going and filling out an application for that community but then went, "Nah... too much damn work." I can't imagine coming up with five sockpuppets; writing those applications for all five; and then getting accepted. I'm all about working for the laughs but that's just too much.

I'm trying to figure out why this is even a problem. I mean, a lot of people RP multiple characters, right? And it sounds like she doesn't use her socks to rig the voting on contests, plays them completely in character, etc. I would think it would be boring to stick to one character if you're RPing for years... Maybe it's just me?
