I didn't like Kate by the time I bailed on LOST because the "torn between Sawyer and Jack" thing bored the shit out of me, and it seemed like the only thing the writers ever wanted to do with her. But dude. This is like Kate came out of the teevee and killed the OP's puppy.

By the time I bailed on 'Lost' like mid third season I disliked pretty much EVERYONE and EVERYTHING on it, though I remember shades of mouth frothing Kate hate even then, that were reminiscent of this, Kate like could not ask someone to pass the salt nicely and I'd see all these uber rants on her and her eviltude.

Well, since you posted the exact same essay not once, but twice to two different communities, using two different usernames, it seems obvious that you do, in fact, care deeply about what other people think and are now proceeding to freak out because some people disagree with you.

Fail.

Also the Kate-raising-Aaron plot has been badly handled and makes Kate into a selfish baby snatcher, so I kind of agree with the original essay. However, she's put more thought into this essay than most social workers put into cases dealing with actual babies in actual real life, which just makes me go "wtf, calm down, go outside for awhile, it's just TV."
