Small RPG wank
In the beginning, there was a multifandom RPG: Aternatopia, set in the fictional town of Aternaville. Time passed, and there was conflict.

In any case, one player (Dexy) was booted, and whined a bit about it in her four journals (same post, four copies). An excerpt:

I'm making another community that's going to be AV, but without the drama of the scary HP Harry/Snape crap that no one reads, and the very OOC Doctor/Rose/Master threesome, the very badly played, crying Sirius Black, the President Laura (who isn't anything like Laura) who can't do anything but wander around with her baby and beg for attention, and Mal/Master/Jack who can't be bothered to post more than three times in a thread unless it has something to do with sex -- Becky, Chris and everyone else all hate that about you, by the way, Mar. Because you can't do something without it turning into sex, and that's why Becky doesn't like to play with you often. You're sick and you need some help.

No bitterness, clearly. But "scary HP Harry/Snape crap"? I wonder if this will come up again... Touchingly:

Anyway, I will be starting the community tonight or tomorrow and we're just going to move it over, either to Insane Journal, or another place on LJ, and you can just shift your characters over. No drama on our front, we swear.

And, indeed, some players weigh in on their future plans.

Remember-- no drama! Which is naturally why Dexy posts to Bad_Mods_Suck. (ETA: Deleted. ETA: Oh, dear. Dexy has apparently been banned.)

Those mods were in a clique of their own, they never played with other people or other characters. The head mod, [info]xx_doctorwho_xx wouldn't play with you unless you were going to play porn with her (she needs to buy a vibrator), the smaller mod, [info]a_jade_phoenix , wouldn't play with you unless your character was going to coddle Harry and let him cry on your characters shoulder.. because he cries. A lot. So they played with one another. The Harry and Snape cried and had sex. A lot.

(Is it just me, or is she a little fixated on the Harry/Snape thing?) But, hey, it's all good! She's created a new community on InsaneJournal: Aternaville. And:

We just moved the game to another location, changed it a bit (so we wouldn't plag.) and took all of the good characters with us.

A happy ending! Or is it? One of her comments says:

Unfortunately, they did a horrible thing to me with no reason. No reason what so ever. That is unforgivable. They didn't even do it tastefully. They were rude and they were mean, and Pen was even worse.

Who might Pen be? Ah, yes, well... In our next wave, Pen, the original creator of Aternatopia, posts to bad_rpers_suck and stop_plagiarism. (Community responses are rather different.) Apparently the changes so they wouldn't plagiarize the game didn't actually include changing the name of the town, the mythology, the text of the game description, the application questions, or redrawing the map. Oops?

Pen has multiple screenshots and a name-redacted chat log. Highlights:

Woot: here's what's up. Didn't know it was your game originally. Sorry about that. If you'd been nice instead of a psycho, I would have been nice in return and changed everything early on. Unfortunately, you weren't.

and:

I have a better idea! Here's what you do: Put up our new com on your website. And get laughed at when people look and *gasp* nothing's the same! Not even the name! Aternatopia? Aternaville? I was in a game very similar three years ago. It was called Aternatown. Maybe you stole it from them! I bet you did!

The description is eventually rewritten, including the following caveat:

We realize that characters grow and change, but Snape and Harry, who clearly hate one another, should not suddenly decide that they're in love and want to raise a child together.. it's just strange!

But, hey: at least there's no drama!
