I honestly think it's too early to declare Lady S______ to be without supporters. Various people at various points in this mess have commented that they would be interested in reading the book. More likely, however, is the oft-wanked fanfic phenomena of people leaping to the defense of authors they feel have been unjustly or maliciously mocked. Usually, granted, this is a response to what they see as attacks on their preferred writer and/or story, which is clearly not the case here. But someone coming into the middle of this fail storm and not understanding that what we're mocking is Lady's S______'s seemingly supernatural ability to JUST NOT GET IT might take up her tattered cause out of a senses of fairness. I wouldn't put it past her to send a sock in for this kind of thing, but Lady S______ has never shied away from personally taking people on (to her credit, though little good it's done her), so I suspect that Sidewinder is a Real Life or internet friend fighting, as they see it, the good fight.
