My concubines are lame. Drown them all!
SGA ficcer is not getting the acclaim she says she deserves. So she is going to delete her LJ. Her 560 "friends" are not fawning enough so what's the point?!

There are at least 60 comments on her epic fic's last two chapters now. I'm too lazy to figure out how many there were before she flipped out. Also she posted the last chapter only yesterday.

And the mea culpas pour in--three pages of "I'm sorry/I suck/Plz don't go."

>
And one of them thinks she can get some LOVE IF SHE FLOUNCES TOO!

When someone points out the flounce. [info]sardonicsmiley doesn't argue much.

And she is finally called on her tantrum.

LOL ENTITLEMENT DEBATE.

eta: WOT? "I'm turning commenting off until the last part, because otherwise that would just be too much."

So she turned commenting off and then bitched about no comments? O_o

eta2: All this for an alias change?

ETA3: BAHLEETION!! (saved pages below)

page 1, page 2, page 3, and expanded smackdown. And page 4 thanks to [info]longtimegone! :D

Well damn! What is her problem? I'd be happy with only ONE and I don't even write fanfiction.

She disabled comments on some of the chapters because she couldn't deal with them. Now there aren't enough to make her happy?!

I also read that she is newly pregnant. That could explain the crazy?

Ah. Hormones.

Given online antics, I expect a "tragic miscarriage" every bit as real and meaningful as the pregnancy itself.

I doubt it. Sardonicsmiley isn't a friend (or even an acquaintance), but I've read her journal pretty faithfully for the fic. She isn't prone to online antics and drama whoring. This is the first remotely wanky behaviour I've ever seen.

I'm betting the flounce is due to pregnancy hormones and stress.

When I wrote fanfiction, I used to consider 10 comments per chapter a very good haul indeed.

Apparently, my inner attention whore was just not on the job. She should have been screaming, "LOL, NOOB!" and hurting my butt.

Thank you. I laughed. I needed that, after dealing with two days of stomach problems. ^_^

I generally write one-shots and I rarely get as many as ten comments. (I also don't write in very big fandoms, or very popular pairings, but still... sixty?)

All the same I went a little batshit when I was pregnant too (just ask the people I was working with at the time), so maybe I shouldn't throw stones.

And now that I think of it I've had a couple of f-locked LJ posts that said "Hey, wait, no comments?" so I'm not one to talk. I felt kind of guilty writing them but my f-list is where I vent and I wasn't trying to direct it at my friends. :/

Seriously. As someone who has been friended by more or less the same number of people as the flouncer here, 10 comments per chapter is an amazing haul.

I wonder how many comments she leaves people in the fandom, srsly.

Ten nothing - I consider five absolutely amazing. And I'm fairly sure most of my f-list is not of the "I read but don't comment" variety, but rather, the "Oh God she's posting more writing" variety.

... wait, what am I still doing here? Time to go delete my journal!

Oh, man! My yuletide got comments too. :3

I'm so proud of it; it makes me happy.

(But, like, I have fic on my harddrive that I don't even post, because they're not good enough for real people to read them, and I have ZERO comments on them -- unless a mental "wow this part sucks" tag counts, and then I only have one :().

Dude, one of my fics got five pages of comments once. I thought I'd slipped and landed in Bizarro World. If I accomplish nothing else in my entire life, at least I'll have that one time I got multiple comment pages on a fic!

My first SPN fic got to two pages of comments. I'd previously written in fandoms where a dozen comments was cause for major celebration, so I was absolutely floored.

*applause*

What kills me about my own fic is I just scribbled it out during a slow day at work whereas my seriously 'crafted' stories didn't get anywhere near as much attention. Woe.
