My concubines are lame. Drown them all!
SGA ficcer is not getting the acclaim she says she deserves. So she is going to delete her LJ. Her 560 "friends" are not fawning enough so what's the point?!

There are at least 60 comments on her epic fic's last two chapters now. I'm too lazy to figure out how many there were before she flipped out. Also she posted the last chapter only yesterday.

And the mea culpas pour in--three pages of "I'm sorry/I suck/Plz don't go."

>
And one of them thinks she can get some LOVE IF SHE FLOUNCES TOO!

When someone points out the flounce. [info]sardonicsmiley doesn't argue much.

And she is finally called on her tantrum.

LOL ENTITLEMENT DEBATE.

eta: WOT? "I'm turning commenting off until the last part, because otherwise that would just be too much."

So she turned commenting off and then bitched about no comments? O_o

eta2: All this for an alias change?

ETA3: BAHLEETION!! (saved pages below)

page 1, page 2, page 3, and expanded smackdown. And page 4 thanks to [info]longtimegone! :D

When I wrote fanfiction, I used to consider 10 comments per chapter a very good haul indeed.

Apparently, my inner attention whore was just not on the job. She should have been screaming, "LOL, NOOB!" and hurting my butt.

Thank you. I laughed. I needed that, after dealing with two days of stomach problems. ^_^

Ooh. Huggles of Sympathy™ regarding the stomach issues.

Ouch. Stomach problems + laughter never ends well for me.

I generally write one-shots and I rarely get as many as ten comments. (I also don't write in very big fandoms, or very popular pairings, but still... sixty?)

All the same I went a little batshit when I was pregnant too (just ask the people I was working with at the time), so maybe I shouldn't throw stones.

And now that I think of it I've had a couple of f-locked LJ posts that said "Hey, wait, no comments?" so I'm not one to talk. I felt kind of guilty writing them but my f-list is where I vent and I wasn't trying to direct it at my friends. :/

Yeah, but that's understandable. I did the same thing before. You see absolute shit get 100 comments because of who wrote it and I can put a lot into a story and get nothing. And if it's f-locked, you're not really looking for the "pity me! love me!" angle. You're just annoyed and trying to not end up being a PITA.

True, and I wasn't threatening to flounce off or give up writing.

Though I need to remind myself that writing crack pairings in small fandoms is not going to lead to large numbers of reviews but that doesn't mean I shouldn't do it.

And that'd be difference: you weren't being annoying. You were just being a normal person. This chick sounds like she belongs with the Danneel Harris haters.

Ha! I wrote Pansy/Seamus in HP. Come on. Crack is crack (big or small, it's not like there was a large calling). Actually, that pairing gave me the most reviews. I think I got close to...15-20 at FictionAlley for it.

Seriously. As someone who has been friended by more or less the same number of people as the flouncer here, 10 comments per chapter is an amazing haul.

I wonder how many comments she leaves people in the fandom, srsly.

Ten nothing - I consider five absolutely amazing. And I'm fairly sure most of my f-list is not of the "I read but don't comment" variety, but rather, the "Oh God she's posting more writing" variety.

... wait, what am I still doing here? Time to go delete my journal!
