SGA ficcer is not getting the acclaim she says she deserves. So she is going to delete her LJ. Her 560 "friends" are not fawning enough so what's the point?!

There are at least 60 comments on her epic fic's last two chapters now. I'm too lazy to figure out how many there were before she flipped out. Also she posted the last chapter only yesterday.

And the mea culpas pour in--three pages of "I'm sorry/I suck/Plz don't go."

	Whee, my favorite brand of wank, perfect for a boring Sunday evening! Is it just me, or are the standards for feedback a bit different in SGA than in, well, most other fandoms? Is 30 comments few? 	I think it depends on the genre and area you write in. And whether you hang around with BNFs or in the big pairing zones. If I got 30 comments on one of my fics, I'd count it a fricking awesome haul! (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	SGA's ginormous and McShep's a huge part of it, so each fic written gets more readers (compared to other fandoms) than most -- at a 10% comment rate, or something, I guess, you'd see a lot of comments. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Yeah, that's true -- still, SGA's larger than usual, even after the exodus. Merlin's not even all that good, to be honest. It's just getting a lot of hype because all the good fic's moving there, which, of course, basically imports fandom from the BNF's old fandoms. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Of course, SGA's source material wasn't exactly deathless prose either. We just got lucky enough to inherit bunches of Due South and Smallville BNFs. sigh Guess we can't complain too much about the same thing happening again. 	Don't get me started on fucking Merlin. I tried to follow half heartedly, but pretty boys in one boring castle with one card board bad guy just don't cut it for me. Where is the freshness?
