Re: Not Getting It: Ur doin pritty gud, ackchually It's only legal to use reference material if it's changed to the point that no one can recognize the original material. I know someone who was sued for publishing a drawing of a camera because the photographer who took the photo she used as a reference recognized it as his. Plus, she used the word "recreating".
