More shippy banner fun
I'm sure most of you remember all the fun ads from TwoP.

"Because the time for forever is now." Like, omigod, Buffy/Angel forever!

If this leads to another banner ad war, I am gonna pee myself laughing.

I cheered with glee when I saw the one time "I" was capitalized. Whee!

Banner wars, it's the wank that never stops giving.

This is a prime opportunity to break in my new icon. Okay, so wrong 'ship, but the sentiment stands.

After viewing that banner, I think I need to go and give my teeth five or six thorough brushings to get rid of the taste of saccharine inexplicably overwhelming my tastebuds.

"The Time for Forever is Now"? That sounds like a Kay Jewelers ad.

Buffy + Spike 4Eva, the Time for Rough Sex is NOW!

I especially like the Flowing Font of Twue Wuv and the on-again/off-again capitals. Cause that makes it more Meaningful.

That's one of the ugliest banners I have ever seen, lowercase "i's" notwithstanding. And they so don't understand the "short and sweet" rule of marketing. Phah, whatever.

No kidding. It's like they took every schmoopy B/A quote they could find and combined them. But then had to cut it down for a loadable file size.

Someone should have told them to cut it more. And to use their "Shift" key more.

But, but, it's just so hard to press the shift key and another key at the same time!

Can we arrest them for random capitalization? Can we?

Good God, it's that kind of misbegotten crap that makes me believe Photoshop users should have to take a class before using the product. How many different fonts did they use in that Frankenstein's monster?

They should have let someone who had actually passed sixth grade English make it. And that's not even addressing the wankiness of the content itself. THEY BROKE UP. IT'S JUST A DAMN TV SHOW. GET OVER IT.

Gah. Just when you thought it was safe to look at banner ads.
