LOL TWILIGHT
LJ picks this for today's writer's block question:

"Imagine you manage a coven of baseball-playing vampires. The Cullen family is really strong this year and you want to bring in a ringer. Which currently active MLB baseball player do you sire?"

question submitted by [info]seannu

Most answers are some variation of WTF?

Though I kind of like [info]dekustar's giant FUCK YOU.

Posters have started invading the question poser's single journal post with gems like You are actually Jameth! etc...

Obvious troll, is obvious, but still pretty funny. Except the journal was started in 2001. Is it Jameth? Am I supposed to know who this is?

When I saw your subject I grinned from ear to ear ala the Grinch, knowing exactly what this was about.

My answer to it: THIS QUESTION SUCKS COCKS. IN A BAD WAY. LIKE WITH A CONDOM ON.

I guess Twilight fans and those who aren't can be just as barbaric.

Here's another good answer from gorynna

None, because the Cullen family doesn't exist, and I don't morally approve of turning people undead simply because I appreciate their ability to swing a bat.

Emphasis mine.

I'm also enjoying all the "VAMPIRES DON'T PLAY BASEBALL" answers.

. . . I think I need to make a "Are you sparkling? THERE'S NO SPARKLING IN BASEBALL" icons.

My response when I saw it was mostly one of WTF, although the responses have made it worthwhile: CAPSLOCK RAGE, sparkly text, srsly u guise, why so serious, roflmao, omgwtfbbq, and so forth. All it needs is a dash of Lady Sybs and it's a slice of delightful Twilight wank pie. =D

I've never understood how any of those questions is supposed to help writer's block. If I had writer's block and tried to answer this question to get over my block I'd get distracted all day from other people's answers, due to the wank volume, and no writing would get done. If I really wanted to write I would just stay off FW, which is also pretty distracting...

Wow, Twilight actually seems to have even greater range than Harry Potter. Both have movie wank, fan wank, incredibly EPIC fan work publisher wank, ship wank, final book wank, but I don't think Harry Potter will ever have "real world sports player" wank.

This divergence makes me hopeful that eventually there will be a wank involving Twilight and action movies.

TWIHARD! WITH A VENGEANCE!

You will probably have to provide sunglasses for your players though, because of the sparkling.
