Heh. Well, I didn't think it was an actual reference to F_W.
That in itself is a reference to a mild bit of wankiness, from over on televisionwithoutpity.com, and its mildly sucktastic Enterprise recaps. Seemed like at least once per recap, the recapper would go "OMFG SHOUTOUT!", like the Enterprise writers were combing carefully through each of her recaps and sitting there for hours every week trying to think up how they could work in references to her recaps.

Actually, I stopped reading the recaps before the episodes got wholly sucktastic. So it was actually turning rather palatable episodes into mildly sucktastic (and growing more and more sucktastic) recaps.

Heheh! Glad you like it! But don't thank me. Thank [info]aruru, for being kind enough to actually craft it for me. I had mentioned wanting to have a Kunihiko Ikuhara icon, and someone (I think [info]dawnswalker made the 'dead from coke' joke. I corrected this with, "No, more like 'now he RICH from coke.'" Because you can't deny the cracktastic glory of the Utena anime.

Special mad props to [info]aruru for getting matching poses for Akio and Ikuhara, though. I think that's what makes the icon simly perfect.

My best friend's sister-in-law's family belongs to a church they call Res Lifers (sounds like a prison term to me!) and at the beginning of each service the congregation holds up their checkbooks so the minister can bless them. I'm not kidding.
