Some Anime Jump! (To Conclusions) Wank
So poster "Ryouga" at the Anime Jump message boards wants to know more about a series called "Alien Nine". His post references the recent review of said series, written by Christian Nutt, who frequents said messageboard under the handle of "ferricide". Notice that he also bashes Neon Genesis Evangelion while he's at it, calling it "impressionistic bullshit", among other things.

ferricide replies, basically arguing with Ryouga over his opinion of "Evangelion" (yet he still manages to answer the question).

Ryouga won't let the subject die. Neither will ferricide. Others come into the fray!



Ryouga: "No, don't misunderstand me. I do think Eva is utter crap, impressionistic bullshit, intellectual masturbation, etc."

"Wednesday":"But you think Ranma is a work of genius.

I think this basically says everything anyone needs to know about where your tastes lie, and therefore it would surely be prudent for you to confine yourself to male-marketed romantic comedy..."

R: woe is me. cry cry cry, I'll never be able to keep up with such highbrow tastes. Maybe if I watch the works of Osamu Tezuka backwards while dancing on one foot in elephant dung and sipping don perignon I can raise my level of artistic appreciation a few points.

Then later on...

"Why don't we skip the anime talk and just fight in the open. flame on."

From then on out everyone else but Ryouga stops taking it seriously, and just goes to pulling up random GIS results. The dates however, indicate that this could still be a wank-in-progress. Fun for all!


But they do not answer the most important question of all! What would happen if David Cronenberg directed "Cardcaptor Sakura"?! I MUST KNOW!!!!111!!1

Edit: What wank would be complete without accusations of homophobia and the hysterical denial thereof?
