	When I joined GWML [and the fandom as a whole] a few years back I just caught the tail-end of the uke!Trowa mess. Was there for the full force of the backlash on the 1x3ML though. They could have taught the HP fandom a few things about flame wars >D (Reply to this)(Parent)

Standing up for anyone but me. That was kind of my point. And I didn't do it for any kind of "you go girl's." I did it because she pissed me off. I'm not involved in any fandom she is, I do no more than skim (and skip the comments)the boring crap about her posted here. Know what I mean? It wasn't personal with me. Yes, and that was the best thing about it. You weren't attacking her because you disliked her (to start with) or because we didn't like her, you came to the conclusion that we had made completely on your own. And in such an eloquent way. It's just fucking amazing. I'm pretty much of the opinion that we ought not let our fellow f_w members tell us who to like or dislike. And I especially don't care for it when someone tries to plop their personal grudges on my plate and pass it off as wank. But sarah_t set my teeth on edge with her own words, from the first post of hers that I read. And now it's happened to you too! That initial "bitch are you for real?" response is really cool idnit? 	That's why it was good, IMHO, the fact that your only motivation was personal. Of course, because you didn't automatically say, "OMGWTF, you're right, F_W is evil, what was I thinking?" that's enough to place you firmly in the midst of our hive mind, in the opinions of some.
