Asking for backup/clarification on one point brought up by a "friend" of thanfiction.

I saw on a twitter search someone who had met Andy claim that he couldn't be Amy Player because he had an adam's apple and couldn't be a transgendered male.

If you look at this image in a photo viewer and enlarge it, there is a prominent adam's apple. I know that adam's apples are not exclusive to the male gender. It's just not the norm for females to have one, but I did not see any evidence of one in the images of Victoria Bitter.

I don't know if there is any surgical way to 'build' an adam's apple. My google search came up empty.

So... photoshop? Or is there a way to create one through surgery?

	Women have adam's apples, they're just much less prominent than men's. But you can sometimes see them if the lighting is just right. That might be the reason for the dramatic lighting in that photo. It takes being starkly lit from the side to show it. I think if it's not digitally altered it's probably a combination of T and the lighting. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	I have that photo a little larger and I think most of it may be a shadow, though it does look like an adam's apple. 	I thought that it was the combination of testosterone and growing during puberty that formed the adam's apple. I didn't think that an adam's apple could become prominent after growing was done. That's why I hadn't considered it. But I was wrong. So, there you go. (Reply to this)(Parent)
