Uh, for the record, I agree with you. Voldemort, and most villains in fact, aren't usually as self-aware as portrayed in that application. I didn't read the whole thing, as I've wasted enough time on this, but it was pretty clear to me that it was more intense-main-character-smoking-while-monologuing-badly than an almost-2D villain.
