I checked out the open twitters of known "inner circle" who were there. "thanfiction" showed, people seemed to be having a good time, and if there was any bitching on-site it didn't make it to the internet in a publicly available way.

I think the worst that happened was that the kids from NZ got stuck in Atlanta due to the blizzard for part of it.

Honestly? As much as a wanksplosion would have been awesome, I kind of feel better that these kids didn't get totally fucked by VB.

	Yeah, my favorite fannish memories are finally getting to meet people and having an awesome, if giggly, time. I'm glad that they got to have that with no drama (that we know of). It would be a real shame if this puts them off making friends in fandom. :( (Reply to this)(Parent)

	They made some kind of horrible stew with ice buckets and microwaves and lots of raw meat. D: Then some of them posted that it was the best night of their lives on Twitter and I felt sort of relieved that they weren't all stuck in Union Station waiting for the Great Pumpkin.
