The Not So Triumphant Return of Victoria Bitter, aka thanfiction, part the third
Lost in the comments of the last post, [info]julian_black tells us that idiomagic has spit out the kool-aid.

The evil twin is yesterday's news, people. Now there's an UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARD.

Yeah, I'll repeat that: UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARD.

I don't even know. Does it top channeling fictional hobbits? You decide.

ETA: HOLD THE PHONE: UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARD EMAILS HERE! All personal info redacted, of course. Thanks [info]bacon_lover!

Also, idiomagic would like us to know that She never drank the kool-aid. She was *cue dramatic music* THE MOLE!

I dunno, there's a reason Deep Throat's identity was never revealed...

Reminder: please use male pronouns when referring to VB/thanfiction, and leave the transfail in the other post, thanks.

. . . all I can do is quote,

Bad juju all around.

holyfuckingshit. I'm not very knowledgeable about US law enforcement, but isn't HS kind of really serious business?.. :|

Yeah, it's mildly overkill.

Perhaps more serious than is warranted, but they can certainly fuck you up if so inclined.

I don't know. When there are UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARDS involved, it's pretty damn serious business.

I'd hate to be the agent who has to classify the extent of the threat. UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARDS are a bit of an unknown quantity, you know? I'd hate to have to face them in the field. What weaponry do you deploy? How do you assess their intelligence?

I know it's severe overkill and a drain of resources to have Real Live Law Enforcement chasing down Fake Members Of Terrorist Organizations.

But there's still that sweet, sweet smell of Schadenfreude Pie at the thought of all his bullshit about "I was in the IRA" coming back to bite him in the ass like that.

I'm torn, what can I say?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Yukio Mishima wished he could be this brazen.

I'm right there with you. Also, I can't help but wonder if this wouldn't be the perfect recipe for starting a paramilitary organization in plain sight:

- Take absurd back-story (evil twin sister, his son? A sparrow, channeled hobbit dreams, sword scars on chest, Casanova/'put lotion in the basket' persona, Nice Guy Syndrome, etc),
- stir in a declaration of joining a terrorist organization (IRA).
- fold in calling yourself a supreme leader, and bake for three days at a Convention in D.C.
- Sprinkle with a claim underlings are fighting undead shaman-wizard.

You can be sure any people still with you will believe whatever you have to say, and can all reach the nation's capital when you require it. The authorities will not be able to stop laughing long enough to take action against you. Serve cold.

Yeah. I'm very much going "No, no, no, going way too far!", but part of me is enjoying the picture of VB's face when Homeland Security knocks on his door asking about his 'IRA connections'.

Sacramento? Which state?

Seriously? I mean, I know California's a small, quiet state that easily falls off the radar and all - but I thought that state capitols were covered in the fifth grade.

Maybe that person was homeschooled by a crotchety Irish grandfather (with intentions of thinking about revenge) who didn't think US geography would be useful knowledge.

Considering that person's profile shows them located in Davis, CA, I have to imagine they're not really asking in which State is Sacramento located. My money is on awkward phrasing + too much egg nog.
