The Not So Triumphant Return of Victoria Bitter, aka thanfiction, part the third
Lost in the comments of the last post, [info]julian_black tells us that idiomagic has spit out the kool-aid.

The evil twin is yesterday's news, people. Now there's an UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARD.

Yeah, I'll repeat that: UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARD.

I don't even know. Does it top channeling fictional hobbits? You decide.

ETA: HOLD THE PHONE: UNDEAD SHAMAN-WIZARD EMAILS HERE! All personal info redacted, of course. Thanks [info]bacon_lover!

Also, idiomagic would like us to know that She never drank the kool-aid. She was *cue dramatic music* THE MOLE!

I dunno, there's a reason Deep Throat's identity was never revealed...

Reminder: please use male pronouns when referring to VB/thanfiction, and leave the transfail in the other post, thanks.

The "evil twin" thing was at least possible. Highly unlikely true, but still it is possible that one could have a fraternal twin - even one of a different sex - who looks a lot like you. Having said twin be "evil" and out to ruin the "good twin's" life is right out of soap opera, but even so it is possible.

The undead shaman wizard? Not so much...

This wank would be 1000% more awesome if it turned out that he actually did have an evil twin currently locked up in an insane asylum.

But I guess that's wishful thinking, yes?

Know what would be even better? If he was the evil twin who tricked everyone into thinking his sister was the evil one and locking her up.

Also, there would have to be some sort of crawlspace living arrangements involved here somewhere.

Yeah, I have a female friend with a twin brother, and when they feel like fucking with their family she cuts her hair and he dyes his and everyone has to do a double take to figure out which one is which.

My sister and cousin have been telling everyone they're twins for years. Half of Dundee university actually believes them, which is dramatically lowering my estimations of the intelligence of the student body of Scotland.

The alarming thing is the identical body language.

My sister and I have the opposite problem. Looks-wise, I got a fair slab of the Maltese/Scot, and Tina got nearly pure Germanic. So she's a little Heidi, and I'm a total Maria. Nobody believes we're sisters (that's a link to a photo of us). The only thing clueing people in is the noses, I think.

And round the eyes.

People never have a problem believing we're sisters. Sometimes they have problems telling us apart. There are few things funnier than causing BSOD in a toddler because they think they've got one and are then told they have the other.

The nose and the eyes, yes.

Meanwhile, with me and my sister, we're occasionally accused of being twins despite there being a roughly 7 year difference between us. It amuses me, because I don't mind being told I look almost a decade younger than I am. >:3

My older sister M is 11 years old than me and we look very similar, when I was younger she got 'your daughter' comments about me all the time. Backhanded comments at the worst.

I once got a "your son" regarding my youngest brother. Who is less than six years younger than me. I was 17 at the time.

My excuses are a). she was an old lady, b). brother was standing a fair distance away, and c). we were in Adelaide.

*runs away from Adelaide wankas*

Around the time I was 18 and my sister was 13, we used to get mistaken for twins quite often. It was rather annoying (for me -- she thought it was great), but also hilarious when guys would try to chat her up. If she started giving me the 'help!' look, I'd casually drop her age into the conversation and then watch the guys backpeddle so fast they almost broke something.

Tell that to my undead shaman wizard twin sister who's been trying to ruin my life by psychically attacking my friends from her cell in an asylum ALL MY LIFE.

I could just about believe that Andy had somehow convinced himself that Victoria/Amy etc. was his evil twin sister, but undead shamans (shamen?) are just a step too far into the crazy pool.

The plural of "shaman" is "shamans". It's not "sha" + "man".

People get this wrong all the time I'M LOOKING AT YOU WHOEVER WROTE THE SCRIPT FOR THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS!!
