Actually, I'm not sure the natural 20 was necessary...4e Will is based on either Wisdom or Charisma. And whatever these troublemakers' Wisdom scores, all this hullabaloo speaks of high Charisma.

...And one of the classes that uses Charisma as a classic skill is Sorcerer. Maybe the undead shaman-wizard was just annoyed that a damn sorcerer was getting involved?

	I don't think VB's story is running with 4e rules. Somehow I think if VB ran D&D, he would be one of those people who plays nothing but some kind of incomprehensible homebrew that bears maybe a vague resemblance to 2e, only with five hundred pages of house rules, bizarre new classes, and hundreds of random tables for added 'realism'.
