So in other words, yes.

The more elaborate astral stuff /seems/ to be new, but I haven't read all of the stuff in Turimel's LJ. In Amy Player's Big Apology, he did say he was involved with a Priestess (capital P), so I wouldn't be surprised he'd been involved with/used some of this sort of... fascinating elaboration... before.
