Ok, this will probably just be me.

First up, D&D 4e. I'm gonna pretend this guy is a PC and put him squarely in the middle of paragon tier. I'm using the hybrid class rules; you could also go multiclassing feats, but the text of the email suggests it's more of an even blend.

I could base a whole adventure around this. A con man with a thousand faces who wove a web of lies around the PCs' associates finds himself under attack by a wicked undead shaman/wizard representing forces from beyond the world...Do they defeat the evil wizard, or leave the swindler to his fate? Does he deserve that? Is this whole setup just another con game? And just who is this undead shaman/wizard, anyway? How does this relate to children in the woods being eaten by monsters?

Man, this is rife with epic conflict here.
