Comparing himself to Roman Polanski is particularly bad. He wasn't just accused, he was convicted of drugging and raping a teenage girl, then fled justice for decades and deliberately downplayed the severity of his crime.

On second thought? Actually an apt comparison, but for all the wrong reasons.
