The swan song of one thanfiction aka Andy Blake/VB, etc. He is leaving the internets forver. Maybe. If he doesn't die from his mysterious heart condition--he's going to college. Yes, sir. But he is unlikely to ever give up the cancer sticks.

n.b.: Please use the pronoun he when refering to Andy or face the wrath of pretty much everyone, but especially those who can ban your ass along with the rest of you.

eta: I didn't bother posting a link to Turi's reaction post because it was even more boring than Andy's brave farewell. But some sockpuppet comments to defend Andy.

	No, you can't here. You're literally not allowed to smile in Virginia driver's licenses. My photo had to be taken four times because I instinctively smiled and they had to yell at me to stop. And they also now use no color, it's this sort of yellow black-and-white. In short, the most singularly hideous photo that's ever been taken of me. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	I was having an argument with my mother when they took my license photo like 20 years ago and I was so wierd and angry in the photo that bartenders and waitresses refused that ID for years. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	We're allowed to smile here in New South Wales. My friend is smiling widely in his photo, he was so happy to pass the test. No colour? What's the point of a photo for id that isn't in colour? (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Beats the fuck out of me. I literally look like an angry, fat, bile-yellow zombie. It's like they took a black and white photo and then dropped a yellow-green overlay over it (actually, that's exactly what it looks like they did). That photo could frighten small children. I don't know whose idea this was, but they should be whapped with sharply pointed sticks.

I'm planning to move to Maryland in a year or so, I hope they have more attractive licenses!

I'd settle for just looking psycho. My past 3 IDs have caught me in 'Oh GOD let this end' last trimester pregnancy where I still feel I look like a hippo with glasses on, a raging case of the flu where I had circles under my eyes so dark the photo taker asked if it was makeup, and my current one of suffering the toothache that not long after abscessed and it was pouring rain outside.

At this point, I'm convinced there's never going to be a semi decent ID picture taken of me.

	Many years ago, I worked for a newspaper and had one of the staff photographers take my passport photo. I had a flattering passport photo. Which did cause problems when I got off flights looking like a zombie with swine flu and then had to convince passport control that I really was the charming, attractive, intelligent woman in my passport.
