The swan song of one thanfiction aka Andy Blake/VB, etc. He is leaving the internets forver. Maybe. If he doesn't die from his mysterious heart condition--he's going to college. Yes, sir. But he is unlikely to ever give up the cancer sticks.

n.b.: Please use the pronoun he when refering to Andy or face the wrath of pretty much everyone, but especially those who can ban your ass along with the rest of you.

eta: I didn't bother posting a link to Turi's reaction post because it was even more boring than Andy's brave farewell. But some sockpuppet comments to defend Andy.

Nah, Who fandom is too factioned for him, I think. He needs to appeal to a large cross-section of fandom for optimum moron recruitment and Who fandom is separated into too many smaller groups that don't intermingle much. Plus, there's too much canon and fan-created material for him to make the kind of big, attention-grabbing splash he likes. I have a couple of moderately talented, attention whoring fanficcers on my flist and both of them attempted to cross into Who fandom at one point, but weren't able to get the kind of notoriety they craved and quickly exited. I'd guess Andy would have the same experience.

I think Whodom is safe. For the moment.
