Jenny Edwards, aka The Rejection Queen, is a "soon to be published author who is still getting rejection letters from literary agents". She runs a blog called Tales from a Rejection Queen, which consists of a laundry list of rejection letters for her writing dating back to 2008. Lest you think this might make for boring reading material, the letters are also interspersed with icons such as "Careful, you might end up in my novel!" and "How 'bout NO!".

I can tell you one thing...Literary agents wouldn't know a good novel if it lit a fire up their ass. All these agents are looking for right now is trend. If you don't have the next lame ass vampire, paranomoral or science fiction book...you best start writing one or go find another job. "

Allegations are made that the published book RQ keeps claiming she authored -- the one that she insists is coming out in 2010 and was picked up by Grand Central -- is actually Gunning Down Romance, printed by one PublishAmerica.

Whole thread here, complete with boggling and J'ACCUSE: I'm just stunned by the fact she can't spell the "f" word properly.

The offending journal entry at RQ's blog is quickly deleted, and a new entry posted:

Ah, it's so interesting to see how many people have really nothing better to do with their lives. I must admit, I love stirring up shit.....but people go waaaay to extremes. I didn't read any of the comments posted on my last blog entry. The only reason I deleted it was because I don't need the drama. I don't really give a shit if my post is cached on google. I would have kept it up if I didn't get some 80 comments on it. Wow, that's a record for haters!!! Anyway, if anymore haters post comments on my blog...it will be deleted. That's all I got to say about that.

Yeah I've been "Xed" from publishing? Interesting.......I just got another request for a partial. Toodles!!!

Comments are deleted left and right as RQ insists that her publisher is totally legit, that she could actually be "some studly dude" and not the author of Gunning Down Romance at all, and that "lol. I am still revising my second novel. I'm about to send out the first three chapters to an agent right now."
