I was actually surprised after seeing it that it was rated G. We had a few parents come out with kids because they thought it was too scary and they wanted refunds. But, Toy Story 1 had Sid mutilating toys, so.....

Anyway I liked it. I can't say "Oh that was better than the first two!" or anything like that because they really are different films, and in their own ways they're all really good. Plus I mean...it's fucking Toy Story. It changed animation, it put Pixar on the map, etc etc. You can't really duplicate that. But the movie was phenomenal for a 3rd sequel, and the only series/trilogy I can think of that pulled it off is Indiana Jones. And they had a helluva fuckup for the 4th film, and the 2nd wasn't as good as the first or third, while all three Toy Stories have been solid films.

uhh..sorry this is really getting off topic, and I don't want to get into spoiler territory. My point is, Armond White can suck it. I mean, it's one thing to give the film a negative review if you actually have some reasons. I certainly didn't think the film deserved a perfect score, but his review is a trainwreck.
