This is too funny not to share. Someone over at [info]spnpermanon calls Dean (played by Jensen Ackles) blond.

I've noticed people tend to care about this thing! In middle school I called a friend "blonde", and was immediately corrected by the whole room: "It's red!" Apparently, "strawberry red/blonde" looks an awful lot like yellow.

And I still don't care!

OMFGS why is this fandom so insane.

The big deal is that he's not blond, not that people don't want him to be blond. So it comes across as somewhat creepy and festishizing to insist he is, or depending on the author a lack of ability in description (can't have two brunets in one story?). (Like the way Jared/Sam's eyes suddenly stop being green when he's paired with he's paired with Jensen/Dean.)

I think the anime got it REALLY wrong. Ok, Dean may not be a blond or whatever his hair color is but his hair aren't black and in the anime version of Dean we saw so far, his hair are pure black not brown.
