Harry already has a “light”: Jenny. The fact that they need to change his relationship with Hermione just points out how badly they depicted the Harry/Jenny relationship. (While not really wanky, this made me laugh, so I had to point it out.)

I’ve always been a H/HR fan. ALWAYS.
But I also enjoy and respect R/HR. As Harmony shippers, we get a lot of crap. But let me just say, this dance wasn’t unrealistic. It was PERFECT for the scene. Anyone who says differently, just has a bias who hates H/HR.

Therefore, anyone with a brain, realizes that it could have happened. It didnt. So haters, stay pressed. Ron and Hermione end up together in the end anyway. Stop complaining.

I am still a Harry and Hermione shipper even though I know it’s foolish to hope for the movie to change the ending… It ain’t happening so I ain’t expecting it. But that dance at least from Harry’s prospective was not about friendship at all.. It can be argued Hermione missed Ron and was thinking of him. But the way they interacted; it wasn’t about friendship. And they were this close to kissing… Any other movie they would have… In my mind Harry is settling for Ginny because he can’t have Hermione without destroying friendships that are very dear with him so he’s not rocking the boat… But that is just me. My opinion.

There are screams of "THIS. IS. NOT. TWILIGHT." and "DELUSIONAL" from R/Hr shippers to every Harmony comment. Comments are also being rapidly deleted by the MTV website as shippers start flagging each other over fictional OTPs. There were some hilarious R/Hr comments and comments from the supposed "sane middle ground" (Martin and Jordan) that were bahleeted before I could c&p. :(

Ron and Hermione own my soul. But as for the poll, people that thought Harry and Hermione would have or should have ended up "together" are going to lead very boring love lives.

You know, for people so confident and secure in their ship, you really go **** as soon as someone even hints at the possibility of Harry and Hermione as a romantic couple. I mean, you won. Your couple was endgame. Why do you care if someone would have preferred Harry and Hermione to be together? It's really all about ship preference, and what you see as a desirable relationship. And really, you're not even defending your ship but just dismissing anyone who disagrees with you as delusional idiots who can't read. Just because someone has a different interpretation of a book, doesn't mean they're wrong. There are entire lit. classes that sole purpose are to break down literature and interpret it in your own way. And if Rowling wants her books to stand the test of time, then she should probably get used to people taking away different experiences and having different perceptions of what she writes. I guess my main point is that it really isn't your place to tell someone what opinion to have or that their opinion is wrong.

First, I WANT TO HARRY END UP WITH HERMIONE FROM THE START. THANKS. Now, I want to say many things: I see that exist an important abundance of R/H shippers and honestly those commentaries kind of "wars of ships" are so freaking old, in fact, get over it. The H/Hr exists, more deny more present is. You can think that it's like incest or whatever, you can say that Harmony doesn't exist and the truth is WE exist, we're here and only seems to me it's prentend that we didn't exist. But it doesn't matter, thus we are well. We, the Harmony (Pumpkin shippers, H/Hr), are happy. What gives more that ours ship didn't write JKR? What matters if it makes a couple of years ago we were attack while the six book? Well, we have news: we exist and we are happy. Because after those times (and if you have more than 5 years in fandom, you know what I'm talking about) we, the Harmonys, remained with the best thing: the FANDOM. We remained with the beautiful possibilities of creating what we wanted, as we wanted and how much we wanted. However, and in truth I don't say it to do bashing, you remained with the JKR canon. A boring canon and without chances to be developed, no longer can create something totally free because there will be some that they reproach to them that do not follow the canon and honestly, perhaps it wasn't boring with "and all lived happy ever after"? So as Harmony I request a favor to all of you, get over us or forget us, mature and keep to yourself with the canon. You already know that Ron married with Hermione and Harry with Ginny. And what? A poll will not break or will return anything that was written, you have to be free and happy. Breathe and leave us breathe too.

Leave this sort of crap to twilight. Harry Potter is about the FRIENDSHIP between these three people. Ron and Hermoine are perfect together, so are Harry and Ginny. REAL fans of the book like it the way it is...only silly kids who have never read the books and only watched the movies think Hermoine and Harry should end up together. That would be like INCEST yuck!

This is the wank that never ends...yes it goes on and on my friends! Some people started shipping it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue shipping it forever just because...
