Rynne ([info]acediance) wrote in [info]fandom_wank,
My favorite part is how she wrote to LJ Abuse to ~find out what she could do to stop being disagreed with on the Internet "harassed"~. I'm sure LJ Abuse has better things to do with its time than to deal with this sorry situation (like finally get on those annoying bots that keep infiltrating comms), although this might bring them some lulz.

As a professional writer for over 30 years and a published author, I have learned one very valuable lesson from this experience: that the rewards of mentoring writers--which I have been doing for several years now--are much greater than making fun of them. For that I thank you.

Well, at least she wasn't banned in vain! She learned something valuable from all of this! It's just too bad that lesson wasn't, "Maybe I need to grow a thicker skin and stop overreacting to people's disagreements and flouncing the minute someone hurts my feelings." Oh well. At least the lurkers are there to support her in e-mail during this turbulent, traumatic time.
