Bleach fandom is wanking. Lather, rinse, repeat
Bleach fandom is shuddering. A wank explosion may be due. AGAIN.

Anime episode 310 is released, and Studio Pierrot has changed the ending (which was "discussed" here too) to allow for a filler arc.

The rabid Ichiruki fans are Not Happy. AT ALL. On BleachAsylum the episode is rated 0/10 by 36% of the fans, and there is much bitching

- Debbiechan declares that she's done with Bleach anime insisting that they've watered down Kubo's ~vision~.

- An Ichihime fan trolls the discussion and gives the espisode 10/10.

- A sane Ichiruki fan suggests that they may get more fanservice out of the filler... but they are quickly told that not agreeing with the hivemind is not ok.

- Debbiechan is Not Done, so she also whines on the always "peaceful" Bleachness to try getting asspats from her peers.

Nobody else cares... O RLY?! Why is Ichigo and Rukia such a super trend on twitter, even higher than Justin Bieber, huh?

Becase as it turns out the rabid Ichi Ruki fans were planning to "celebrate" episode 310 as the most IchiRuki-loaded one ever by making it twitterr-trendy. And here are some examples of said behavior patterns. (Backhanded comments about Orihime and minor spats with IchiHime fans included)

I dunno - the Ichiruki fanatics are kinda on the level of Harmonians, but HP fandom also has the Snapefen. And the Malfoyfen. And Slytherfen in general...

The best part is that they're wanking over... getting a filler arc, which traditionally completely writes Orihime out and only focuses on Ichigo and Rukia, mostly on Rukia. So in essence, they're whining that Studio Pierrot is going to write out their least favorite character (again) and focus on their favorite one (again).

And the second best part is that this was predictable even as far back as when the chapter in question came out. It was clear even then that the anime would either change that ending to allow for Ichigo to keep his powers, or would write him out completely so they could go to filler.

In other words, this is wank about the sky being blue. The Twitter thing is added bonus, though.

The studio looked, saw Kubo trolling and thought, "hell, we'd better just do that!"

When are these people going to figure out that Kubo doesn't have a ~vision~? I'm pretty sure he just makes shit up as he goes along, with his only gameplan being "troll the fans whenever I get bored."

Also, ugh, why is Bleach Asylum's layout so eye-bleedy? White text on black bg does not make my retinas happy.

Man, I haven't read Bleach since they had to sedate Yumichika because Ikkaku was kind of hurt. Good times.

Sometimes it sounds like it could be fun to go back to, but then I remember all of this.

Did these people not notice how Ishida worried about Ichigo? How upset he was about Ichigo losing his powers? *has mostly skipped the episode and only fast-forwarded to the scene with Ishida*

Btw, as for watering down Kubo's vision, the other day Kubo tweeted that he actually reads the anime scripts to make sure the story stays true to his ~vision~ and none of the characters are OOC, so yeah. (I can't find the actual tweet what with Kubo's penchant for spamming, but it's out there if someone wants to look for it. I also can't remember if he also meant fillers or not, IIRC he said something about that, too, but I can't remember.)
