Hey, I'll admit I enjoyed the movie (I want to just cut apart the fantasy scenes and run them all together - zombie nazis? Stone samurai? Giant dragons? I'm so there!) I'll also say the movie was highly problematic, so I simultaneously agree with those who didn't like it.
So, from my decidedly neutral position, I'm pretty amused at how "discussions" on the internet always devolve into extremes. "IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER AND SHOULD GET ALL THE AWARDS!" "NO, IT WAS THE WORST THING EVER AND EVERYONE INVOLVED NEEDS A PUNCH IN THE FACE!"
THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND! THERE IS ONLY ZUUL!
