Did he accidentally set this to auto-post four days early?
Not a quest saga! Quest sagas don't belong in speculative fiction! Neither do talking horses! Or puns! Or anything that could be in any way fun!
He uses the word "laddish". Delightful.
Although Miéville is clearly talented, he does not work hard enough.
Unlike Christopher Priest, who not only works very, very hard, but also expects the reader to work very, very hard to slog through one of his blog posts. Priest knows that good writing must have adverbs in nearly every sentence!
