Casablanca's got a handful of characters, a simple realistic setting, and an easy to follow plot. Its complexity lies in its themes and depth of character. Homestuck, as I understand it, has a gazillion characters and an extremely long plot within a complex fantasy/sci-fi universe. I have no idea how that comparison even happened.
