Poor guy must not realize that a lot of people weren't alive in the '80s to hear "I'll Tumble For Ya" and "One Night in Bangkok." I was, so I got the references, but that doesn't make them good allusions to throw at the general public (especially given that shoehorning in those allusions turned the sentences into grammatical nightmares).
