Oh, okay then.

Also... he could have just said 'Homestuck manages to juggle death and comedy', which would make a certain amount of sense... But then what does the ease/difficulty of the two aspects being juggled have to do with it? Was he just so desperate to include a line that sounded deep, no matter how hard it was to come up with a sentence that could link it in to the ideas that surrounded it?
