Funny story about Sherlock fans! I posted a trolly rant about The Great Mouse Detective when I was watching it on Netflix. Guess the ratio of "omg is this a troll?!!?" to "holy shit, you guys this is ridiculous!!!"
The answer: TOO HIGH.
That movie was made in 1986. The fact that ANYONE in their right mind* didn't bother to freaking google "mouse Sherlock" before flipping out makes me worry for the future of America. (Because all the Sherlock stans seem to be anglophile American teenagers, as a quick skim of the "elementary" tag on Tumblr will tell you.)
*This assumes, of course, that anyone who's a super Sherlock stan is in their right mind. I have my doubts about this premise.
