I remember refreshing FW every morning before leaving for class and laughing as it grew. It stopped being a wank and more a celebration midway through.
Ms.Scribe wasn't funny, just very smart. And although HP fandom is wanky as hell, I actually wouldn't say she's the worst or an example of the worst element. Plus: she did all of that to become friends with Cassie Clare. Which is like the Bronycon con: "I know, as a doctor, I'm not supposed to root for the disease, but with you. . . ." (Oh, the glory years of Scrubs.) A plagiarist deserves a sock-puppeteer as her biggest fan.
