Both of yesterday's battles were closer than I had expected, in the beginning at least. But once Msscribe and Crystalwank gained momentum, there was no stopping them (which is actually kind of true for the wanks and the wankers, now that I think about it), sorry Mrs. Horse and Snapewives.

But as Sep said: "Harry Potter and Lotr wanks in the end: Just as God intended."

Now there can only be one.

I think it's winning due to popularity and effort. We did see a membership boom after CrystalWank, and CW stopped being about the actual wank and more of a party at various points, and I doubt that many people remember when Crystal tried to report FW to the owner of JournalFen.

Maybe the Ms.Scribe story is fading in my mind, but even though she was involved or 'siding' in a number of early fandom conflicts, it was also possible to go through HP fandom and never deal with her. If it were Cassie vs. Crystal, I'd have a hard time choosing, but Ms.Scribe just ... wasn't hindered in her attempts at becoming popular on the internet.

Also, Heidi fails, again. Water is wet. More at eleven.
