I have just found a wank that arguably combines elements of three of the classic wanks recently featured in the Deathmatch: His Wife, A Horse, the Snapewives, and My Ponies Hate You Now.

Simply put: Deviant Art member Kevinsano specializes in My Little Pony art. However, another Bronie recently wrote him a letter asking him to curtail his more erotic MLP art, particularly art depicting Twilight Sparkle - because, argued this correspodent, he and Twilight Sparkle were engaged.

I'm totally head over heels in love with Twilight Sparkle. I have been for 11 months now and at this point I'm in a committed relationship with my Twiley.

I love his complaints about "soulless consumerism and corporate [...] controlled media". He does realize his pony love is from a television created by a large toy company, on a television station partially owned by said toy company, and is part of a long line of shows based around toys?

No, wait, I forgot, Rarity exists on the astral plane, and therefore is above that "soulless consumerism", I'm sure.

Also, if "antiquated notions of sexuality" involves being skeeved out by the idea of fucking ponies, I'm very happy to keep my "antiquated notions", thank you very much.

The hilarious thing is, out of the Mane 6, he's saying this about Rarity. The clotheshorse. The one with the cutie mark of a diamond. Isn't soulless consumerism her raison d'etre?

The depressing thing is that I'm more outraged by the OOCness of his characterization of Rarity than the fact that he's projecting all of this onto an animated Hasbro pony whose actual raison d'etre is to sell massive amounts of tie-in shit ~~to twenty-something neckbeards watching "ironically"~~.

Actually... no. Hasbro meta aside, I was pleasantly surprised by Rarity; in most shows of this sort, the fashion-conscious and materialistic character is a vain and shallow foil for the protagonist, a one-note Mean Girl bitch who serves as obstacle and/or rival for the attention of the male love interest. Rarity is, IMO, a lot more complex and sympathetic, and I appreciate that.

Doesn't mean I want to date her, though. :/

	I think it's fair to say that it's "her raison d'etre" in the sense that it's the (meta) reason the character exists--it's just not a good description of her in-universe since they managed to make her an awesome, rounded character anyway. Ah, they're such beautiful special snowflakes who know everything about how to question societal norms and go against "the man".

I just love these people who cling to this notion that because mainstream society regards them as weird, their thinking is actually revolutionary. Yeah, people persecuted Galileo for his knowledge and ideas, but sometimes if people think you're weird, it just means you are weird.

I'm waiting for these fuckers to start veering into unfunny by claiming they're oppressed.

	What really amuses me is that that way of thinking is exactly the same as the right-wing Christians who like to cling to Jesus saying you're blessed if people hate you because of him. The best part is that people thinking you are weird and mistaken just proves how special and brilliant you are!!

It's not that you are weird and pathetic for falling in love with a cartoon pony, it's that your love is so pure and strong and special and pure that it defies the boundaries of species and reality!! When some people wank to pony art, they are just jerking off to a children's cartoon. When other people wank to pony art, they are opening an inter-dimensional gateway with the power of love.
